Top Home Brand Ads (so far) for Spring/Summer 2014

By

As the marketing bar continues to be raised, these home brands are working hard to keep up with trending ads that go viral. Take a look at the list of ads that have caught my eye so far this season.

Let me know what you think about these and other Home Improvement ads this summer. Who do you think did the best? What ads always impress you?

Videocon Turbo-boost Air Conditioners

This one could fall into the “When you see it” category. I love their creative use of the unexpected. Videocon is certainly getting their point across in this ad I’d say.

IKEA Home Delivery

If only all Ikea furniture came as put together as this ad. Ikea’s reasonably priced furniture is often a win with DIYers looking to use their larger pieces of furniture for a new purpose. Checkout this IKEA hack blog for cool ideas to share with your consumers.

Bosch Power Drill

This print ad from Bosch boasts drilling speeds faster than a speeding bullet. The folks in my office are always big fans of quippy print ads that make you think, make you chuckle and still get their point across. It seems like Bosch hits all of those points with this one.

Sherwin Williams Coastal Cool Paint

You can practically smell the salty sea air when you watch one of Sherwin William’s latest commercials. Their Coastal Cool paint is just one of five new paint lines they’re releasing this season. Consumers will love the relaxing, trendy hues just as much as they will this video.

Short Showers Campaign

We know this isn’t exactly a home brand, but shortshowers.ca is a movement DIYers would be interested in supporting. Check out the creative ways this group of people is motivating hotel visitors to take shorter showers in the video below
